Given the travel restrictions and other difficulties the universities are facing in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic, the DRC Presidency, after careful consideration and in consultation with the Uzhhorod National University, agreed to hold the assembly online on Friday, 6th of November 2020 via ZOOM. This event brought many announcements.
During the DRC General Assembly 2020 in November were discussed the remarkable achievements of this past year. The new DRC presidency for the period 2021-2022 was elected, the financial budget was approved, and two new members were welcomed in the network: the University of Banja Luka and the Deggendorf Institute of Technology. Throughout the year, many events online were organised or co-organised by the DRC, the Jean Monnet FIFUDEM project "Democracy Talks" with the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM) was launched and four students from all over Europe were given the opportunity to attend the Green Building Solution Summer school and the AEMS Summer school through the OeAD scholarship programmes.
